With winter fast approaching, many of our resident creeps will be taking it easy until spring.  One that we may still see creeping around from time to time is the tree cricket.

These guys are indiscriminate leaf feeders on a variety of trees in shrubs.  Most of the time they cause little if any damage.  Many times you can find them hanging out on the bark of oak trees in the late-fall and winter months.
