As we all progressed with uncertainty into 2020, we were confined to the spaces we found most safe and sacred to protect ourselves. With an unusually warm Spring emerging at the same time as Covid-19 here in the SouthEast, many of us wandered into the privacy of our own backyards. Heartwood was connected with many new clients throughout the course of 2020.  That trend tells us that our community is looking within itself and its surroundings for relief from the isolation of quarantine. It also tells us that our clients are looking up, and wondering what they can do to create a safe haven of their own.

As we all progressed with uncertainty into 2020, we were confined to the spaces we found most safe and sacred to protect ourselves. In the case of your own quarantine, did you look around and make decisions to make changes? Many of us made modifications to create home offices. Perhaps a paint refresh, a new couch, or new patio furniture? Did you consider expanding your environment to include the outdoors? Maybe you had a tree swing installed, but are still considering other services to create safe spaces outdoors.

such as tree reduction, pruning, plant health care treatments, or new plantings?

Beyond the aesthetics of well-maintained trees, our surrounding environment can create a sense of security, serenity, and contribution. Trees provide innumerable benefits to us. From lowering energy costs and raising property values to our general well being, green spaces are vital to us and the world we live in.
