Donovan was born and raised in South Africa. He came to Charlotte in 2010 to play rugby and began working as a groundsman at Heartwood shortly thereafter. He later became a climber and Crew Leader and most recently, a Consulting Arborist. He has been a Certified Arborist for 6 years. Donovan is passionate about tree preservation and 1965 Ford Mustangs.
