In early December of 2022, Heartwood Tree promoted Southern Territory Manager, Dustin Urbanovsky, to the role of Director of General Tree Work.  In this new position, Dustin will step in to take responsibility for scheduling and management and logistics of our tree work production crews.  Dustin brings over 13 years of practical experience in all aspects of the arboriculture industry.  He is an ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP), and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ).  Having learned to work in arboriculture literally from the ground up, all of his professional experience has been with Heartwood Tree.  Talk about a Career Path!  Dustin has also built a professional competitive tree climbing career, winning the ISA Southern Chapter Climbing Competition in back-to-back years (2015-2016), which allowed for two years as an ISA International Competitor.  He has also participated in numerous other ISA and arboriculture industry competitions, including the ISA North American championship, ISA Rocky Mountain Chapter championship, the Kentucky Arborists Association championship and several Charlotte Arborists Association championships.    

 

In January of 2023, Heartwood Tree Training and Development Director, Bill Hickman, accepted the additional title of Southern Territory Manager, taking over for Dustin Urbanovsky as he transitioned to Director of General Tree Work.   A Heartwood Tree employee for over 8 years, Bill Hickman has also mastered ISA

Certification, is a Certified Treecare Safety Professional, and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.
