Just as fall is around the corner and we think there’s a break coming up from pests in our yard these guys decide to show up! The redheaded pine sawfly is a common pest in the southern United states. 

We want to educate our tree lovers about these sawflies because they like to defoliate conifers and that is something we cannot tolerate here in the land of the pine! Please keep an eye out if you have any evergreens like pines or especially deodar cedars in your yard!
