JOSH WAGNERJosh has been part of the Heartwood family for two years. He started working in the field as a climber and recently made the transition to consulting. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where he attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Contracting and a minor in Arboriculture. It was at Penn State where he met his wife and has now been married for seven years. His career started in landscaping and eventually transitioned into arboriculture where he has spent the past 5 years caring for trees. Life brought Josh and his wife from Pennsylvania to North Carolina back in 2016. They lived in Blowing Rock for two years before making the transition to Charlotte, where they have lived ever since. They now have a baby girl who is a source of constant joy in their life. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and an ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor. He enjoys spending time with family and hiking through the woods. To this point, his favorite hiking destination has been Grandfather Mountain but hopes to hike the Appalachian Trail in its entirety soon.
