In 2004, Heartwood Tree Service became the 1st tree company in North Carolina to be accredited by the ‘Tree Care Industry Association.’ We are a past winner of the Tree Care Industry Association Safety Award!
SAFETY MATTERS
In 2004, Heartwood Tree Service became the 1st tree company in North Carolina to be accredited by the ‘Tree Care Industry Association.’ The accreditation process ensures that there are documented safety training programs and CPR/First Aid training for all employees. We also have to maintain a certain number of Certified Treecare Safety Professionals on staff as well as Certified Arborists. Right now we have 14 CTSP’s and over 20 Certified Arborists. Oh yeah, we also have two Board Certified Master Arborists! We also have two Certified Municipal Specialists and several Certified Tree Workers we have as well. This list is going to grow soon, too!
